

Graciela B. Pruneda, 67, of Othello passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
Graciela B. Pruneda was born on August 17, 1944 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Alfredo and Concepcion Benavides. On July 30, 1972 she married Roberto Pruneda and they lived in Othello, Washington. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Graciela is survived by four brothers, Esequiel Benavides of Cle Elum, Alfredo (Louise) Benavides of Pasco, Cenovio (Chris) Benavides of Redmond, Guadalupe (Yvonne) Benavides of Seattle, Sarita Cooper of Pasco and Celia (Paul) Hesselroth of Othello; seven children, Iliana (David) Flandro of London, UK, Robert (Christina) Pruneda of Othello, Anamaria (Cotton)Sears of Pullman, Rodrigo (DeAnna) Pruneda of Pasco, Rafael Pruneda of Pullman, Ruben (Tiffanni) of Othello, Rolando (Raquel) Pruneda of Fayetteville, NC and 16 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo and Conception Benavides.
Graciela was a beloved wife, extraordinary mother and loving grandmother. As a teacher she touched the lives of thousand of students and people. Her legacy lives on in those lives where she made a difference. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, teaching, and especially enjoyed her garden and flowers.
