Ubaldo M Martinez

Ubaldo M Martinez, 69, of Othello was born on May 26, 1942 in Repueblo de Oriente, Nuevo Leon, MX, to Isidoro and Albina Martinez. In 1954 Ubaldo began traveling with his family to the United States to work harvests, always returning home after the season. In 1961 Ubaldo moved to Othello, returning to Mexico in 1964 to marry Angelica Garza. They settled in Othello. In 1969 Ubaldo, started Ubaldo Martinez Trucking Co. Working for Skone and Connors Farms for 35 Years. Ubaldo was a very free spirited man and was loved by all. He will be missed. He has completed his mission in life which was to respect love and live. Ubaldo was called home on Monday May 15, 2012.

His parents, a sister Francisca and a grandson Matthew preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Angelica of Othello, his sons: Ubaldo (Inelda) Martinez and Isidoro “Loly” Martinez both of Othello, his daughters: Anna Lee (Cesar) of Othello and Belinda (Osiel) Suarez of Boise, ID. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Ramona Valdez, Hermila Marichalar, Enedelia Gonsalez, Clemente Martinez, Humberto Martinez, Servando Martinez, Gerardo Martinez, Delores Pruneda and Albina Montemayor, and 10 grandchildren.

A funeral mass was said on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Ubaldo was laid to rest in Bess Hampton Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Chapel. You are invited to sign the guest book and leave a note for the family at stevensfuneralchapel.com.
