My deepest condolences to you both and your families for your loss. Your mom was a very special woman.  She cared for all the kids in the neighborhood. I have the fondest memories of playing  and talking in your back yard growing up. She had such a big heart, accepting of everyone with open arms.
I will always remember her smile and her laugh.
Every time I visit my parents I look across the street at the house with fond memories  and I smile because she always made me smile.  Remember that your parents are always with you in your memories and in your hearts.

Your Mother was very proud of her family and had a strong sense of community in her beloved neighbourhood of Breezehill. She was an incredible cook and very passionate about keeping her Ukrainian traditions alive. Her spirit will live on in our fond memories.

My sincere condolences go out to your family. May the God of all comfort give you the strength to endure during this difficult time of grief.

We were Anne's next door neighbours on Breezehill for four years. I have very fond memories of her and times spent drinking tea, chatting over our gardens, sharing our summer bounty and hearing all about what the neighbourhood used be "back in the day". She always took great interest in our daughter who loved her like another grandmother. Anne gave me a Ukrainian Easter egg which I bring out every year. It will always be a special treasure and memory to me. She was a wonderful and amazing woman who touched many people in a deep and lasting way. All of you are in my thoughts. Thank you for sharing the lovely photos.

Dear Dianna and Greg, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing!  Kathy and I went to visit her when she moved into her residence and had a lovely time with her reminiscing!  She was such a loving person and I'm sure she will be greatly missed by all that knew her!  My very deepest sympathies.  Your old Breezehill Street neighbor.

My condolences to her family. She was such a proud mother and grandmother. She seemed so small and frail  but she was such a tough, strong woman. We had some fun times together.

I loved Mrs Habec so Much, from reading the other notes she made everyone feel special. Knowing that someone cared about me meant everything to me and her not being here anymore hurts so much. But I know she is with her husband now. You cannot forget her voice and the love that everyone commented about that just came out for everyone. I loved her stories and speaking about gardening. For sure a Breezehill Mum for many generations. I would wander over as a kid and just end up there and leave with a smile and a lifesaver. Just the best person. I am greatful to have had such amazing people on Breezehill when I was growing up, people to look up to and set such a great example of community and caring.

Dear Dianna and Greg,
Your mom was a great mom to all of us growing up on Breezehill, and became a great grandma to both my girls as time went on.  Going home always meant a visit to her house and somehow she always had treats and laughter to share with all.  She is fondly remembered by all of us who grew up with her warmth and easy ways.  My sympathies to you and your families.

Mrs Harbec was one of the very much loved Mom's of Breezehill and who I had the pleasure of knowing growing up. She always had a smile that made you feel so special. My condolences to the Harbec family.

When I  visited your Mom for tea, we shared happy memories of our families being together for Christmas and Easter during the past years.  Often remembering the delicious city chicken and traditional Ukrainian cabbage roll dishes served during these gatherings.

Mrs Harbec was a very kind person. She loved everyone and always made you feel welcome in her house.

To the best gramma ever. You held me when I was just 8 weeks old - gave me cuddles - gave me cheerios and gave me all your love. I will miss your smile lighting up the room. And did I mention the cheerios? Because yes, I love you and your cheerios.
