Passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 83. Barbara was born on June 2, 1942 in Ottawa, ON to the late John 'Bud' and Juliette Warnock (née Fournier). Beloved wife of the late Charles “Chuck” Mendola. Loving mother to Karen (Sylvain Chénier) and step mother to Charles Mendola and the late Michael Mendola (Karen). Adored grandmother to Valérie Chénier, Jonathan Chénier, Amélie Chénier and Gabrielle Chénier. She will be missed by her brother Gary Warnock and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her cherished spouse, Robert Charron and her sister, Isabelle Fraser (Colin).
A memorial Gathering for Barbara will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON.
In memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation
