Il était le fils de Bernard Noël de Tilly et d’Eustelle Noël de Tilly (née Potvin).

Il laisse dans le deuil son fils Migizi Noël de Tilly-Beaudoin (Katherine Diabo) et sa petite fille, Animki Ikwe Diabo-Beaudoin.

Il laisse également dans le deuil ses sœurs et ses frères, Rachel Noël de Tilly (Duncan McIntosh), France Noël de Tilly, Julie Noël de Tilly (Jean-Guy Gagnon), Stéfane Noël de Tilly (Lynn Boissonnault), Yves Noël de Tilly (Michelle Turner) et Sophie Noël de Tilly.

Benoit a su durant sa vie être d’une aide auprès de son prochain.

La famille désire remercier Dr Mulligan, son équipe médicale et le soutien pastoral à l'Hôpital Montfort.

Une cérémonie funéraire aura lieu à Sudbury, Ontario, en toute intimité avec la famille immédiate.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Benoit Noël de Tilly on July 14, 2026, at the age of 63.

He was the son of Bernard Noël de Tilly and Eustelle Noël de Tilly (née Potvin).

He is survived by his son, Migizi Noël de Tilly-Beaudoin (Katherine Diabo) and his granddaughter Animki Ikwe Diabo-Beaudoin.

He is also survived by his sisters and brothers, Rachel Noël de Tilly (Duncan McIntosh), France Noël de Tilly, Julie Noël de Tilly (Jean-Guy Gagnon), Stéfane Noël de Tilly (Lynn Boissonnault), Yves Noël de Tilly (Michelle Turner) and Sophie Noël de Tilly.

Throughout his life, Benoit was always willing to lend a helping hand to those around him.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Mulligan, his medical team, and the pastoral care staff at Monfort Hospital.

A funeral ceremony will be held in Sudbury, Ontario, in the presence of the immediate family only.

To honour Benoit’s memory, the family encourages donations to a local food bank.
