Bertrand "Bert" Grenier

Peacefully at Bridlewood Retirement Residence on Saturday, March 26, 2022 with his children by his side. Predeceased by his parents Aristide Grenier and the late Antoinette Domingue and by his beloved wife of 56 years Yolande Grenier nee Labonté. Bert was the loving father of Lucie Patrick (Jamie), Denis Grenier (Penny), Ginette Grenier, and the late Ron Grenier (Candy Feeley). He was the adored grandfather of Stacie Richard (Brent), Matthew Patrick, Eric Grenier, Shawn Grenier, Curtis Grenier, Yanik Leroux, Cory Grenier, Krista Lepage (Chris), Austin Moke. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and predeceased by a great granddaughter Abigail Lepage. He was the dear brother of the late Joe Grenier (late Reine), late Henriette (late Cecil Munro), late André Grenier (Hélène), late Paul–Emile Grenier, Jean-Marie Grenier (Emilie), Yvette (late Alban Giguère), Carmelle (late Hector Desrosiers) and Suzanne. He was the much loved brother-in-law of Carmen Doyle (Rodger), late Jean Ball (Gary), Marcel Labonté (Norma) and the late Guy Labonté (Maureen). Bert will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Many, many thanks to the exceptional and outstanding care and support from Dr. Liu, Nurses, Individual Care Providers and all the other staff at Bridlewood Retirement Residence for many years, especially during our dad`s finals days.

The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Thursday, March 31, 2022 after 10 am, followed by a Celebration of Bert`s life at 11 am in the Chapel.
