Dear Holmes Family,
      I just received the Bell In Touch newsletter and I noticed Bob’s name there. I was down south at the time. I’m very sad to hear about his passing. My sincerest condolences.
     Bob was always a pleasure to work with. He was a great guy and very smart. He could always put a positive spin on anything. I remember one particular occasion. The company was shortening the work week to four days from five instead of layoffs. Everyone in the crew was depressed. But not Bob. His answer: Overtime now starts at 32 hours!!!

Brian and I remember so many good times shared with Bob and Eleanor.  How they opened their house to Tara for a summer and treated her like their own.  Many meals and nights together at ringette tournaments.  Bob enjoyed chats with the guys and was always so great to have around.   We will forever remember and cherish those memories.  Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.  He was loved by all who knew him.

Wayne and I are so very sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.  He truly was one of the good guys, a gentleman through and through. He was so very proud of all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  A family man who was loved by all of us. He will be truly missed.
