Brigitte Dean

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Brigitte Dean, who left us on June 5, 2026. Brigitte was a gentle and compassionate soul whose warmth touched everyone she met. Her love for animals, her kindness, and her quiet strength will be remembered always.

Brigitte was born on September 9, 1973, and throughout her life she carried a deep devotion to the well-being of every creature. Her compassion was steady and instinctive, and she brought comfort wherever she went.

She leaves behind her father, Frederick Dean; her mother, Monique Dean; her sister, Isabelle Jairath; her brother-in-law, Puneet Jairath; her nephews, Adriano and Kamrin; her niece, Kaia; and her partner, Roch Gour, with whom she shared a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Brigitte's presence will be profoundly missed, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

A celebration of Brigitte's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on June 22, 2026, at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K1L 1B4. Condolences will begin at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Brigitte's memory may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society, reflecting her lifelong love for animals.
