Passed away unexpectedly in Windsor, Ontario on September 19, 2015 at the age of 39. Loving and devoted husband of Melanie Baker. Adored son of João and Lurdes Amorim of Ottawa. Cherished big brother of Liz and Jorge. Precious son-in-law of Calvin and Gail Baker of St. John’s, NL. Carlos will be dearly missed by his constant companion Onyx. Leaving behind his many friends and extended family across Canada and around the world. Carlos was a Program Manager at AP Plasman and was formerly employed at Windsor Mold. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 9:30 am at Senhor Santo Cristo Portuguese Catholic Church, 1100 Kenaston St. Interment Hope Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the United Way of Windsor-Essex County or the Windsor Essex Humane Society or floral tributes would be greatly appreciated.
