It is with great sadness that we announce Chantal passed away on April 12 2023 at the age of 71 years. Loving wife of Alex for 55 years. Adored mother of Christiane Mundie (James), Michelle Streicher (Kurt) and Sharon Parsons (Dan). Cherished grandmother of Andrea Streicher, Nicholas Streicher and Jordan Mundie. Dear daughter of Pierrette Diguer. Chantal was predeceased by her father Fernand Periard, her step-father Marcel Diguer, and by her sisters Carol Periard and Sylvie Periard.
We wish to say a special thank you to the staff in Emergency and ICU at the Ottawa Civic Hospital for the kindness and compassion shown to Chantal and her family.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road on Wednesday April 19, 2023 at 1pm followed by a service in the chapel at 2pm.
In memory of Chantal, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
