I will miss you cousin Charlie.  I will miss your intellect, your humour, your generosity, your love for history and family which we shared.  Those check up phone calls won't come to me anymore, but I won't forget you.  I will cherish the memories of a lovely man and dear cousin.  Rest in peace.

August 15, 2024 Barbara, Tom Cahill (cousin) and Charlie  at the old St. Anne Parish cemetery, Isle du Grand Calumet, Pontiac, PQ.  Paying respects to our great grandfather James, great great grandmother Anne Shirley Cahill and all the Cahill pioneers of Calumet Island.   We will meet again!

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother...I know you enjoyed each other's company ! One of the sad things about life as we get older is the inevitability of the loss of people we love...I'll never get used to that ! If you need anything let me know...

Sharing sadness and condolences from my uncle Paul Noel, who was a longtime friend of Charlie’s.  I just recently starting to get to know Charlie a bit by helping pass messages along when my uncle moved to a retirement home and I looked forward to meeting Charlie in person sometime,  as he seemed like a jovial interesting character.  I am very sorry to hear this news of Charlie’s passing.  My condolences to Charlie’s family and friends.

Rest in Peace Charlie. You will be missed.
