Diane is survived by her daughters Beverley Ann (Stan Kustec), Jennifer Lee (Brandon Dallaire), Stacey Jean (Shawn Harrison), her 7 grandchildren Jake, Melenka, Danielle, Keaton, Jackson, Gregory and Riley, and her brother Jim (Beverley).
She is predeceased by her sister Joan (Hugh Osler), parents Meryle and Don Devlin and husband Ted Melymick.
Diane was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on May 20, 1943. She attended nursing school and worked as a nurse for several years before getting married and eventually moving to Ottawa. After raising three children she attended Carleton University and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and went on to have a successful career in the Government working for the Canada Revenue Agency. She had a passion for painting, golf and travel.
Diane’s devotion to her family and friends will be missed.
Visitation for Diane will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm followed by a service in the chapel at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON. Diane's service can also be viewed live or for replay at https://funeraweb.tv/diffusions/63718
