Passed away suddenly on March 5th 2014, at the age of 85. Daughter of the late Edward Jay and the late Lillian Butt and beloved wife of the late Robert Charles Paradis, beloved sister of the late Audrey Bell (Jim) and of the late Marvin Jay (Becky). Loving mother of Linda (Dale Bemben), Ron (Norma) and Mark (Anita), cherished grandmother of Jamie, Evan, Raymond, Chantal, Katherine, Claire, Eric, Paul, Amie, Kirsty, and Branson as well as great-grandmother to 6 great-grandchildren. She also leaves many in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends, especially Mary O’Toole and Theresa Pratt. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday March 14th 2014 at 11a.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). Family will receive sympathies from 10:30a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montfort Foundation can be made in her honor.
