1925-2016
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at the age of 90 years. For fifty-four years, beloved husband of the late Gloria Anne Harris. Loving father to David (Geneviève), Jonathon (Jo-Anne) and Blair (Lyn). A cherished and devoted Grandpa to his adoring grandchildren. Ed was an honourable, caring person of great intellectual capacity, curiosity, wit and wonderful good humour. He revelled in the love of his family. Ed distinguished himself in the medical profession, from his early days as a Royal Air Force and Royal Canadian Air Force medical officer, until his retirement as an accomplished specialist physician. He will also be remembered as a spirited supporter of the Ottawa Senators hockey club, carrying the team’s banner as a season ticket holder, from the modern Sens’ first season.
