Elle était la fille de feu Edouard Smith et de feu Alice Racine.

Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille Natalie Lipson et son fils Edouard Lipson, ses sœurs Colette Sharkey et Joanne Smith, ses 3 nièces Lisabeth Sharkey, Geneviève Sharkey et Kléo Martin, plusieurs amis ainsi que son compagnon fidèle, son chien Gino.

Les funérailles auront lieu à 11h le samedi 29 mai 2021, à l’église St-Mathieu, 3120 chemin Gendron, Hammond, Ontario, suivi de l'inhumation au cimetière St-Mathieu.

En mémoire de Elaine, des dons à l’Association pour la protection des animaux à Ottawa, Ontario seraient grandement appréciés.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Mrs. Elaine Marie Rose Smith passed away on December 6 2020, at the age of 78, after a courageous battle against cancer.

She was the daughter of the late Edouard Smith and the late Alice Racine.

She leaves behind her children; Natalie Lipson and Edouard Lipson, her sisters; Colette Sharkey et Joanne Smith, her nieces; Lisabeth Sharkey, Geneviève Sharkey and Kléo Martin, as well as many friends and her faithful companion, her dog Gino.

A Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 29 at 11 AM at St-Mathieu church, 3120 Gendron Road, Hammond, Ontario. The interment will follow at St-Mathieu cemetery.

In memory of Elaine, donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.
