Sorry for your loss. "Mrs. T",  as she was affectionately known, will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a second Mkther, to many of us, myself included. RIP, Mrs. T. Your kindness will not be forgotten

Our heartfelt condolences at the loss of Fran.  Apologies, for just receiving word of her death, or we would have been at her memorial service.  We remember with fondness the summers we spent in your back garden on Lexington, where Fran would teach us the use of water colours and pastels and attempt to teach us in the rudiments of beginner ballet.  So many wonderful memories of her throughout the years.  She was a gentle woman who always offered a kind word and a smile.  We will always remember her as a gentle soul who had time for everyone she met.

Dear Joan--please accept my heartfelt sympathies for the loss of Mom at this most difficult time.  Your Mom,Fran was a wonderful lady and I remember how we often played as youngsters under her watchful and caring ways.  She will be missed by many.

Dear Sonia and Joanie......my sisters in Ottawa, Janet and Marilyn, passed on the sad news of your mom's passing!!!  What vivid memories I still have of "Mrs. Topelko" and then "Aunt Fran" as we got older.....especially lunches of grilled cheese and soup at your home during the school week....painting and becoming artists.....playing in the backyard at your house and ours on Rossland....your mom and my mom having wonderful visits together! Please accept our sympathies.  When I look at the painting that your dad created and then he and your mom gave to me and Rick for a wedding gift - I always pause and reflect on how they were part of my formative years, growing up in City View.

Dear John, Joan, Sonia and families,
I was so very saddened to hear of Fran's passing. I have known and loved Fran my entire life, from Rossland Avenue, probably seeing her most every day, to going to weekly painting classes with her, Mom (Dorothy Robb) and Lorna Baker, to showing paintings at St. Mark's, to seeing her at the show each year, even after she stopped showing. I will always remember Fran as a dear, sweet, genuine and loving lady, who only had kind words to say, but always with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. I consider my life richer for having known her. 

On behalf of my family, husband Chris, daughter Emily, and son, Michael, we offer our most sincere condolences. Chris just lost his dad, Andrew Hrnchiar, last week, and we know the hurt and loss you must be feeling (he was also a painter who showed at St. Mark's). May the void caused by your loss be filled with wonderful memories.

Mr. Topelco: art teacher, Johnson Lake neighbor, and friend.. and    family, I am so sorry for your loss. Fran was always a joy to be around, and I feel privilledged to have known her and your family all these years.

John - my condolences on your loss. Fran was one of the finest of ladies and a great friend to my parents, Betty and Oz.

John, you know how much we McKibbons loved visiting you and Fran at the cottage and anywhere you were.  Fran just sparkled in her gentle way with a twinkle of mischief in her eyes. We feel so blessed to have known Franny with her beautiful smile and sweet, sweet nature. Wishing the Topelko family comfort during this difficult time.

John, so very sorry for your loss. Although we knew her only briefly, we knew her for her warm kindness, sweet demeanor, as a loving wonderful person. On Lexington Street, she'll always be in the hearts and homes of those who had the good fortune of knowing her.
