Françoise Maisonneuve

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Francoise (Fran) Maisonneuve (born Vachon) announces her passing on December 21st, 2017 at the age of 88 years old in Calgary, Alberta. Fran leaves to mourn her son Frank, and daughters Claire (Godefroy Cardinal), Louise (Peter Thornton) and Nicole (Randy Lucas) and grandchildren: Elizabeth, Etienne, Jean-Christophe, Matthew, Chella, Felix-Antoine, Laura, Sophie and Joel.

Fran was born July 6, 1929 daughter to Eva (Dufort) and Alexandre Vachon. Fran was a devoted wife (Robert “Bob” Maisonneuve -2013), and wonderful mother to her children. At Fran’s request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place in Ottawa July 7th, 2018 11:00am at the Racine, Robert and Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa. Family will receive condolences at 10 am at the funeral home.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Wentworth Manor for all their love and care.
