Georgette Choufani

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Georgette Salem Choufani, who left us on Tuesday Dec 6 2011 at the Ottawa Civic hospital surrounded by her family. She was 74 years old. Beloved wife of Fouad Choufani. Loving mother of George Choufani (Marlene Azzi), John Choufani (Linda Rihane), Andre Choufani, Fares Choufani (Grace Haddad), Therese Chavarie (Larry Chavarie) of Ottawa, Janette Al-Khawly (Ghassan Al-khawly), Daad El-Khazen (Tony El-Khazen), Clair Choufani (Tony Zoght) of Ottawa, and the late Tony Choufani. Georgette will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Fouad, Aline, Elie, Tony, Elie, Charbel, Michael, Giovanni, Clara,Tracey, Amanda, Elissa, Elie, Atef, Rita, Michael,Claire, Angelina and her great grandchildren Carolina and Angelina.Friends and family are invited to the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (At Albion Road), Ottawa, on Thursday, Dec. 8 2011, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday December 9 2011, at 11 a.m at Saint Charbel Maronite Church, 245 Donald Street, Ottawa. Interment to follow at the Beechwood Cemetery.
