After a courageous battle with cancer, our beloved Gib passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Ann (née Corrigan). Dearly loved father of David (Linda), Donna (Rande), James (Peggy), Thomas, Matthew and Joseph (Nicole). Cherished grandpa of Jennifer, Andrea, Nicholas, Jason, Alex , Issac, Natasha and Ashley. Brother of George (Claire) and Lina. Predeceased by his parents Archie and Alexina and his brother Roger. Thank you to everyone for your love and support. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial Mass on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 11 am at St. Maurice Church 4 Perry St (at Meadowlands), followed by a reception.
