Gilles Hupé

Est décédé le 16 mai 2016, à l’âge de 84 ans. Il était le fils de feu Rodolphe Hupé et de feu Amanda Richer. Il laisse dans le deuil son ex-épouse Fleurette (née Lemay) et ses enfants bien-aimés: Danielle Saumure (Ronald), Sylvie Lamb (Ron Hariski), Michelle Lamb (Michael). Il sera manqué par ses 9 petits- enfants et ses frères et soeurs: Ange-Aimée Deschênes (feu Jean-Marie), Rachel Normand (feu Fred), Lise Lemieux (Roger), Guy (feu Jeannine), Yves, Paul-André et Michel (Mimi), ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères et belles-soeurs, cousin(e)s, neveux, nièces et amis. Il fut également prédécédé par ses frères : Roger et Georges. La famille va recevoir parents et amis à la Maison Funeraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180 chemin Montréal, Ottawa) à partir de 12h30 le lundi 30 mai 2016. Un service commémoratif aura lieu en la chapelle à 13h30. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Société Alzheimer d’Ottawa ou à une banque alimentaire seraient appréciés.

Passed away on May 16th 2016 at the age of 84. He was the son of the late Rodolphe Hupé and the late Amanda Richer. He will be sadly missed by his former wife Fleurette (née Lemay). He was the loving father of Danielle Saumure (Ronald), Sylvie Lamb (Ron Hariski) and Michelle Lamb (Michael). He leaves in sorrow his 9 grandchildren, as well as his siblings Ange-Aimée Deschênes (the late Jean-Marie), Rachel Normand (the late Fred), Lise Lemieux (Roger), Guy (the late Jeannine), Yves, Paul-André and Michel (Mimi). He will be missed by many in-laws, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Gilles was also predeceased by his brothers Georges and Roger. Condolences will be held on Monday, May 30th 2016 from 12:30 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa or a local food bank would be appreciated.
