He loved summers at the cottage, especially fishing, and enjoyed the outdoors throughout his life. Gordon is lovingly remembered by his partner, Melanie MacRae. He is also survived by his children: Lynda Hawn, Susan Oakes (Michael), Debbie Hawn, Ashley Danh (Trung), and Desiree Evancio.
He was predeceased by his son, Edward Hawn, on December 15, 2025. Gordon will be remembered by his grandchildren: Nicholas and Kristina Oakes, Tiana and Chase Hawn, and Kaleo Danh. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter Alexander Hawn and Mae Hawn (née Eccles), and by his siblings Walter (Wally) Hawn, Robert (Bob) Hawn, and Mae Cope.
Gordon will be deeply miss by his family and friends.
