I had the privilege to better get acquainted with
my aunt while attending U of O many moons ago. A number of years back, I visited her and stayed at her residence spending entire days visiting other relatives and just chatting. That’s when I felt a very special bond with her. She so reminded me of our grandma and my mom. She recounted stories of her past and shared her very strong Christian faith with me. We continued our relationship with phone calls. She amazed me by picking up the phone and immediately knowing who was calling. She was sharp of mind and spirit, a true gem! She will be greatly missed by her loving family and many nieces and nephews.
Sincere condolences to her family.
Rest In Peace chère tante Hélène. 🌷
