Hervé Bérubé

C'est avec beaucoup de tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Hervé Bérubé, survenu le 18 mai 2026 à l'âge 90 ans. Il était l'époux bien aimé de Denise (née Lemay) et le fils de feu Edmond Bérubé et de feu Rosa l’Heureux.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses chers enfants: Hélène (feu Allen), Carole (Richard) et Louise (Dolores), ses chers petits-enfants : Catherine (Alex), Nathalie et Céleste, ses beaux-fils : Cédérick et Alexandre, ainsi que ses chers arrières petits-enfants : Léa, Félix, Matéo et Olivier. Il laisse également son frère Gaston (Marguerite), ainsi que plusieurs belles-sœurs, neveux, nièces, et amis.

Il fut prédécédé par son fils Philippe, son frère Albert (feu Thelma) ainsi que ses beaux-frères: Bernard (Denise) et Jacques (feu Marguerite).

La famille désire remercier le personnel de l'Hôpital Général d'Ottawa pour les excellents soins prodigués.

Une messe commémorative aura lieu le 11 juin 2026 à 10h30.

La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 9h30.

En mémoire de Hervé des dons à l’Institut de cardiologie de l’Université d’Ottawa seraient grandement appréciés.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hervé Bérubé. He left this world peacefully on May 18, 2026, at the age of 90. He was the son of the late Edmond Bérubé and of the late Rosa L’Heureux. He was the loving husband of Denise (née Lemay) and the caring father of Hélène (the late Allen), Carole (Richard) and Louise (Dolores).

Along with his wife and children, he leaves behind in mourning his beloved grandchildren: Catherine (Alex), Nathalie and Céleste, his step grandsons Cédérick and Alexandre as well as his great grandchildren Léa, Félix, Matéo and Olivier.

Hervé also leaves behind his brother Gaston (Marguerite), many sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.

He was predeceased by his son Philippe, his brother Albert (the late Thelma) and his two brothers-in-law Bernard (Denise) and Jacques (the late Marguerite).

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital for all their care and professionalism.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario) on June 11 at 10:30am. The family will be receiving condolences at the Funeral Home as of 9:30am.

Memorial donations made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated.
