Beloved wife of Dr Mike Kaiser. Devoted, loving and proud mother to Jakob (Skylar McGivery) and Zakary. She was predeceased by her parents, Maurice Quenneville and Carole Desforges, and will be deeply missed by her brother Jesse Sleight, her nieces and nephews, her extended in-laws, and her many close friends whose lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and warmth.
Isabelle grew up in the Montreal suburb of Lachine where she learned to be strong, hardworking and compassionate. Overcoming a difficult childhood, she went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree and then a Master’s degree in dentistry with a specialization in
Periodontology. Her passion for delivering the highest quality of patient care started with her 20 year career in the Canadian Armed Forces Dental Corps which she loved dearly. From there, she went on to provide care to her patients working in the civilian dental
community with many similarly-minded professionals in Ottawa, Petawawa, Val-d’Or and Gatineau. She also cared deeply about the future of her profession by volunteering as a Periodontics examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Aside from her professional life, Isabelle was a wonderful wife and proud mother. A true Momma Bear, she devoted all of her spare time to her boys in helping and supporting them follow their dreams. Nothing was insurmountable for Isabelle’s love for her Jakob and Zakary, she moved mountains for them. Her greatest joy was driving down the highway as Mike’s dedicated co-pilot making their way on another adventure, activity or sporting event. She was simply the best mom ever.
