It is with great sadness that we announce that J. Douglas Hagerman has passed away at Ottawa Civic Hospital on Thursday, October 21, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Doug is survived by his beloved wife, Carol, of forty-five years and his two sons, Aaron and Jeff. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Doug enjoyed forty-two years as a very successful financial planner and was blessed to have helped many, many families achieve their life goals. Special thanks to Father Brian Hennessey for preparing Doug for his spiritual journey. As well, thanks to Dr. Lily and the Transplant Team at Toronto General Hospital and deepest gratitude to Dr. Mimeault and the ICU Unit at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. There will be a funeral mass celebrating Doug’s life on Tuesday, October 26 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 5338 Bank St., Greely, followed by a reception.
