It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Jackie Monsour, on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Jackie was the cherished daughter of the late Toufic and Bahia Monsour.

She will be deeply missed by her siblings Tony (Elham Chamoun), Eli (Marlene George), Caroline (Michel Haddad), and Madeline; predeceased by Samih (Sandra Assaly), George (Cheryl Kinear), and Laurie (Edward Saikaley), as well as her nephews James and Andrew (Vanessa Denny).

Jackie was a loving aunt and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews, who brought so much joy and love into her life.

Jackie’s kindness, warmth and love touched everyone in her presence. Forever, she will be in our hearts and thoughts.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel ,1411 Hunt Club Rd. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June, 24, 2026 at 12:00pm at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, followed by the interment at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Rd.

The family would like to thank all relatives and friends for their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. The family also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Queensway Carleton Hospital and Palliative Care Team for the compassionate care and support they provided to Jackie.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jackie’s memory to St. Elias Cathedral or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
