Devoted husband of Norma Barake Ghazal, with whom he shared a lifetime partnership. Their years together were filled with love, family, friendships and countless memories that will be treasured forever.
He was the proud father of Marcel Gazal (Andrea Dionne) and the late Adel Gazal as well as the cherished grandfather of Kadin Gazal, who brought endless happiness and light into his life.
Caring brother of Habib (Faten Mouhana), Najat (the late Kamil Saikaley), Nicholas (Nada Ibrahim) Marie (the late Hani Zammar), Jacqueline (Abdo Roukos); predeceased by Gibran (Fadia Hage) and Mona (the late George Hamwi).
Jaoudat was the proud Amo and Khalo to many nephews and nieces. He will also be lovingly remembered by Bonnie McLeod, a cherished member of our family.
Jaoudat will be remembered for his humour, story telling, kindness, and the way he was always there for those he loved. He touched the lives of many with his generosity and quiet resilience, leaving behind memories that will be held close forever. Jaoudat will also be remembered for his willingness to assist many family and friends to immigrate to Canada from his beloved homeland of Lebanon. He was a founding member of the Mashghara Benevolent Society and was very proud of his contributions to Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Melkite Catholic Church in the 1970s.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 3, from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Rd. Church funeral service will follow at 12:00pm. Interment will then follow at the Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank St.
