He leaves behind his loving wife Diane (née Proulx), his sons Martin (Jo Anne) and Denis (Katherine), as well as his grandchildren Viviane and Dominic. He also leaves to grieve his sisters Denise, Monique (Fern) and Suzanne (Louis) and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother André (Carmen) and his daughter-in-law Dina.
Condolences will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 chemin Montréal Rd, Ottawa. Followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
In memory of Jean-Guy, donations can be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
