Peacefully at St. Patrick`s Home on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the age of 96 years. Jean was born in Kinsale, Co Cork Ireland on February 23, 1921. Predeceased by husband William Potvin. Loving Mother of Bill (Barb) and Celia (Rick), Loving and loved Grandma to William (Dana), Jeff, Kerrie (Matthew) and Kevin (Alison). Super proud Nana of Kaylee, Liam, Keira, Molly, Jonah and Felix. A big thank you to St. Patrick's Home, especially Galway House for the kind and respectful care our mother received. Gone to join the party and sing and dance her heart away. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service on Thursday December 28, 2017 at 11 am in McEvoy-Shields Chapel. Interment Notre- Dame Cemetery.
