Jeanne D'Arc Beaudoin

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants issus de son union avec feu Gérard Lafleur :

Josée Lafleur (Hermann Guy), feu Pierre L. (Danielle Rivet), Dominique L. (Ron Kief), Christian L. et Jean-Hugues L. (Selma Benterki). Elle laisse également onze petits-enfants et sept arrières petits-enfants. Seulement deux de ses neuf frères et soeurs lui survivent, Lucille et Évariste Beaudoin.

Une messe en sa mémoire sera célébrée le samedi 22 juin à 10h00 à la Cathédrale Notre-Dame d’Ottawa.

Une veillée mortuaire a eu lieu les 26 janvier (de 17 à 21 heures) et le 27 janvier (de 10 à 13 heures) au salon funéraire Racine Robert et Gauthier, 180 chemin Montréal, Ottawa, Ontario K1L 1B4.

Passionnée par la langue française, Jeanne Beaudoin a fait sa marque comme enseignante auprès de hauts fonctionnaires à la fonction publique du Canada.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanne d’Arc Beaudoin, age 96, beloved wife of the late Lucien Breton, and daughter of Joseph and Maria Beaudoin. She passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.

She will be mourned by her children from her union with the late Gerard Lafleur; Josee Lafleur (Herman Guy), the late Pierre L. (Danielle Rivest), Dominique L. (Ronald Kief), Christian L., and Jean-Hugues L. (Selma Benterki). She will be deeply missed by her 11 grandchildren, and her 7 great-grandchildren. Only two of her nine siblings, Lucille and Evarist Beaudoin, survive her.

A further memorial celebrating her life will be held Saturday, June 22 at 10:00 AM at the Notre-Dame Cathedral of Ottawa.

A celebration of Jeanne Beaudoin’s life was held on January 26th (from 5 to 9 pm), and on January 27th (from 10 am to 1 pm), at the Funeral Home Racine, Robert & Gauthier, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K1L 1B4.

Jeanne Beaudoin was passionate about the French language and left her mark teaching high-ranking officials of the Public Service of Canada.
