John Graham

He is survived by his sons, John R. Graham (Elisabeth) of Alexandria, VA and Alex E. Graham (Karen Madorsky) of London, UK and his grandchildren Olivia, Caroline and Claire. He is also survived by his brothers Anthony F. Graham CM MD (Shannon) and Charlie Graham, his cousin Betsy Baillie (John) and his nieces, nephews and cousins.

John was predeceased by his parents John and Susanne Graham and his brother David R. Graham.

John was educated at Rockcliffe Park Public School, Regiopolis College, Loyola College, and Carleton University. He worked in the investment business in Toronto and Winnipeg before joining and later heading the Ottawa firm his father had started, John Graham & Company. During his many years of active business life in Ottawa, John also served as President of both Beechwood Cemetery and the Ottawa Ski Club and was a Governor of Ashbury College.

In later life John established himself in Naples, Florida and was very active in its philanthropic community.

John was married to Catherine W. Robertson of Winnipeg, who remained his lifelong friend. The family would also like to acknowledge John’s relationship over the past 9 years with his special friend Carol Bell-Thompson.
