Peacefully surrounded by his family, at the Ottawa General Hospital, on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of Alexandra for 68 years. Loving father of Bronek (Helen), Zosia and Jeannie (Chris). Proud grandfather of Kimberlee, Aeron (Ken) and Adrienne, great-grandfather of Connor, Alex and Dylan, step-grandfather of Lindsay and Sydney. Cherished uncle of Ewa (George). The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Rosary and prayers at 7 pm in the funeral home. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11 am at St. Hyacinth`s Polish Church, 201 Louisa Street (at Lebreton Street). Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.
