Joshua Robin Clute

Joshua Robin Clute passed away peacefully on January 26, 2018, at the age of 18 years and 10 months, surrounded by friends and family. He leaves behind his parents Christopher, Roxanne (Garneau), his brother Oliver, his grandmother Joy Ruttan, and many others who will miss his warmth and quirky sense of humour. Josh was passionate about his family,cartooning, classic cars, music and his pets. He was a recipient of the 2017 Vice Principal's Award at Colonel By High School for perseverance. In keeping with Josh’s generous nature, his organs have been donated via the Trillium Gift of Life Foundation. We are proud of you Josh and will hold you forever in our hearts. A special shout out to his friends in the Advertising Program and the Transition Support Centre at Algonquin College. Our deepest thanks to the staff at the Civic Hospital ICU. Family and friends may pay their respects at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa) on February 16 from 6-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on February 17, at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Josh’s memory be made to the Ottawa Humane Society.
