RIP Julie, I know that your in a better place now

Leah, it's a very painfull thing to have to bury your daughter. God will give you the grace to bear the pain. You do not have to worry about Julie now. There's no more sickness where she is. God will surely comfort you and take care of David.

Baby J, I will never forget the times you helped during dance practice. All the times I said I couldnt do it, and you assured me I could. I will miss your laughs and stories, and most of all the good times we shared. I will not say goodbye, as I know we will meet again some day. You were an inspiration to all of us, and a strong fighter. You will be missed by all of those you've inspired, and all of those who love you. I will remember you everyday, but will see you soon. My dearest Julie... I cannot get the images of our innocence and the time spent together out of my mind. I have not grasped the idea that you are not here, because I keep thinking about all the time we spent in your house watching music videos, laughing, your dad making us BBQ.. Putting together our outfits to go clubbing... Getting into fights, crying, ...being teens! 

I remember the many dance groups we formed, because we just wanted to dance, ,that was our idea of trouble, dance! 

I remember the army gear... oh boy did we overdo it? I remember Hull... I remember hanging out at the basketball courts and eating popsicles... I remember us counting our allowance to see if we had enough money to go out that night.. I remember us meeting up at the McDonald's beside the Rideau center. 

We grew up, you became a mother and I moved away, but you were and always will be in my heart. 

I promised to come and see you the next time I came down to Ottawa, to catch up and to see how you were doing.. we have to do this in Heaven! 

Please don't forget to show God the dances we made up when we were 14yrs old. 

I love you Julie.... Rest in Peace my friend, you were always beautiful with the glow of an angel!

My deepest condolences go out to the St-Jean family. Although we didn't grow up together, it was clear that Julie was a passionate, beautiful and unique woman. Her love of dance was inspirational and empowering and she always seemed to have a zest for life. She made me laugh and we shared some great memories in high school. I will miss her brave and passionate spirit & I hope that she continues to bless all of us with her light from up above.

I tried to think of a good message to write, but I'm at a lose for words, there really are no words that will work to comfort a situation like this, all I can really say is that even though Julie and I where never actually friends, she was still at one point my neighbor as is the family, so my respects go to the family. 

To Paul, Michelle, David, Anthony and everyone else, be strong, think of the good times, and she will always be with you, never forgotten...
