After a short battle with cancer, at home, with his family by his side on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Doris. Loving father of Abraham, Edward (Julie) and Reema. Adored Jidou of Nathaniel, Alexander and Annabelle. Dear brother of Kalil (Sally) and Annise (Charlie) and predeceased by Nicholas, Nellie, Jamili and Afife. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Oncology Unit at the Ottawa Hospital, the Montfort Hospital and Carefor Homecare for their dedicated and compassionate care. The family will receive friends at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive (at Ridgewoood Avenue) on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 after 11:30 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30 pm. Interment Beechwood Cemetery at 2 pm. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the maximum number at church is 160 people with masks and social distancing. In memoriam donations to the Montfort Hospital or to the St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated.
