Léo P. Gravelle

20 August, 1954 – 17 August, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Léo P. Gravelle, who passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, at the age of 71.

He was the son of the late Albert Gravelle and the late Pierrette Gravelle (née Labelle). He was the beloved husband of Cécile Gravelle (née Cousineau).

He leaves in sorrow his children, Luc Gravelle (Christine) and Mélanie Gravelle (Eric); his grandchildren, Xavier, Malika, Alexa, and Felix; his brothers, Michel (Linda), Robert, and Guy; and his sisters, Lyne and Linda. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Suzanne and Joanne Gravelle.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Saint-Vincent Hospital, particularly the palliative care team, for their compassionate care and support.

In memory of Léo P. Gravelle, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.

C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de M. Léo P. Gravelle, survenu le 17 août 2026, à l’âge de 71 ans.

Il était le fils de feu Albert Gravelle et de feu Pierrette Gravelle (née Labelle). Il était l’époux bien-aimé de Cécile Gravelle (née Cousineau).

Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Luc Gravelle (Christine) et Mélanie Gravelle (Eric); ses petits-enfants, Xavier, Malika, Alexa et Felix; ses frères, Michel (Linda), Robert et Guy; ses sœurs, Lyne et Linda, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Il a été prédécédé par ses sœurs, Suzanne et Joanne Gravelle.

La famille désire remercier sincèrement l’équipe de soins palliatifs de l’Hôpital Saint-Vincent pour les soins et le soutien prodigués.

Pour honorer la mémoire de Léo P. Gravelle, des dons à l’Association pulmonaire du Canada seraient grandement appréciés.
