M. Mavis McLaughlin-Henry

Mavis, oldest daughter of the late Walter and late Aileen (Cuddihy) McLaughlin of Venosta, QC passed away peacefully June 19, 2026. Left to mourn, is her loving husband and best friend Patrick F. Henry. Mavis was a dear sister to the late Peter (Betty Duncan) Ira (The late Lorraine O’Connor) Judy (Bill Sullivan) Barbara (Elvyn Mahoney) David (Susan Alexander) and Allen. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Mavis was a special aunt to her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Know that Mavis was very proud of her Venosta roots where she learned that faith, family and friends were life’s most precious gifts. Mavis was profoundly enriched by her association with the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception of Saint John, New Brunswick. Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2026, at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road and Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Venosta Centre from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Venosta, QC.
