It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Manuel Brasil age 79, who passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026. Manuel Brasil will be deeply missed by his wife of 53 years Ana Maria , their daughter Debbie (Marty), grandchildren Jacob and Danika, sisters Maria, Leontina and Lourdes, and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his siblings Teresa and José.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Rd., Ottawa. The funeral will be held at Senhor Santo Cristo Parish at 1100 Kenaston St. Ottawa on Wednesday, August 19, at 10:00 a.m. Followed by burial at the Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa.
The Missa do Sétimo Dia will take place on Saturday, August 22 at 5:00 p.m. at Senhor Santo Cristo Parish at 1100 Kenaston St. Ottawa.
