Peacefully at Ottawa General Hospital on Monday, February 16, 2015 with her family by her side at the age of 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Patrick James Bernard and loving mother of the late Malcolm Bernard. Survived by her sister Elsie Sirianni (late Fred). Predeceased by her parents Harry Haime and Rose Boddy, her sisters, Florence “ Poppy” O`Brien (late Charles), Theresa MacDonald (late Angus) and brothers, Charles (late Valerie) and Harold (late Mary). She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 2-5 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 9:30 am at St. Bernard`s Church, 1720 St. Bernard Street. Interment Notre-Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
