My sincere condolences to the family I loved Margaret dearly I have many great memories at the farm she was always welcoming to me and we shared many recipes she will be dearly missed so sorry 😞

Daly, Gilbert and Fay, we are all so sorry for your loss. 

I have so many good memories of Margaret.  One that always makes me laugh was one day we were talking about health issues and I said the McLaughlins usually don’t have high blood pressure, and Margaret answered with lots of expression  “No, they generally give it to everyone else!”  

I have told that story to many McLaughlins and it always gets a laugh!

I was just thinking of phoning Margaret because l had not talked to her for some  time and we kept in touch over the years. we always liked to keep up to date on our families.

Margaret was my Teacher in elementary school.  She was the only one who said in her words, he was not too bad.
I married into the family and became a member.  She was always so gracious when we attended and loved to see my Boys as they grew up.    My Boys loved to go to the farm and play on Donald's Herd team as I did in my younger years.
I just learned of her passing this morning. My condolences to Daly, Gilbert, and Fay.  I know she will be so missed by her family and so many extended family and friends that loved her as I did. We had many great chats over the years .

Dear Fay, Gilbert,  Daly and your families,
Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of Margaret. She was so beautiful and welcoming to those of us big and small.  Walking out to Margaret's to see the kittens was a big event for our teens and little ones. 

We loved how she was so practical,  and straightforward, calling things as she saw them, so you always knew where you stood and could count on getting solid advice from her when you sought it. 

And fearless, thinking now of how she recounted standing outside in her housecoat on a cold blustery winter morning, with whip in hand because that was her only defense, warding off a wolf that had designs on one of your animals. 

We love her and will miss her and am picturing her now with Mom, sharing again after they said goodbye, so many years ago.
