

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts, that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mariam Josephine Camilotes on, Saturday, July 25, 2026. Surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and compassion.
Mariam was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished daughter, a beloved sister, aunt and friend. She will always be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, warm smile and unconditional love she gave freely to those around her. Her resilience throughout her journey inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mariam leaves behind her beloved husband, Eric; her precious daughter Alyanna; and her loving mother Marcelina.
She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters Shiela, Sharon, Madeleine, Shirley Ann; her brothers Yong, Bobby and Michael; her brothers in law Fernando, Noah, Francis and Quirino; and her sisters in law, Janice and Aileen.
Mariam was a proud and loving aunt to her nieces and nephews Abigail, Anna Louise, Shiela Mae, Isabelle, Jillian, Shawn, Ken, Laurence, Kevin, Andrei and Mike, Ayah, Bun-Bun, Francis, Carla, Tine, Niño, Franz, Sarah, Vinz, Ken and Jazz all of whom held a special place in her heart.
She also leaves her many extended family, relatives and friends. Mariam's love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will forever be a source of strength, comfort and inspiration. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will always remain with us forever.
The family will receive relatives and friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 after 2 pm, followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3 pm.
