Peacefully, surrounded by her children, on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Rodger. Loving mother of Rodney (Laura) and Cheryl (Manon). Dear grandmother of Lindsay (Tim), Shelby and Terra. She is survived by her sister Helen Kilgour (late Desmond). Predeceased by her parents Harry O`Connor and Helena Quade, her sister Frances O`Connor, brother Joseph and infant brother Vincent. A heartfelt thanks to her family and friends for all their support, and to the staff of Embassy West and Dr. Fairhead for their care and compassion shown. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Friday February 19, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth`s Church, 1303 Leaside Ave. at Merivale Road. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. Forever in our hearts.
