We’re praying for our lovely Aunt Mary and for Uncle Marc, Alexa, Erica and Chris and their families. Aunt Mary was always so kind, funny, outgoing and enthusiastic. Our visits to Sarina and your time out on the west coast will be cherished. I’m grateful to have caught up with Aunt Mary at Genevieve’s wedding. Sending our love from the west coast.

Marc, Alexa, Erica, & Chris, we are thinking about you all during this difficult time! Mary was always the life of the party, and a joy to be around. I feel so fortunate that she was able to celebrate my wedding in Toronto this fall, and see so many of her siblings, and nephews! We will miss her greatly! Love Gen

My first memory of  The Flannery Clan Christmas 1972.  Mary was front and centre from day one. She made it her mission to welcome her future sister-in-law  and  that I will never forget. Her support and love continued  when we welcomed our children, often the sitter.,spoiling her nephew and niece.  The good times and the sad times were all  part of our journey  and I am honoured to have been able to share  it all . Love You always sister Valerie

My condolences to the family on your loss of Mary.  My family met Mary along with Donna, Gerry and the rest of their children in April of 1974. We had recently been posted to Ottawa and planned to stay in our small trailer  until we could move in to our home.  The Flannery's opened their home to us and treated as part of their own. They invited us to park our RV in their backyard. for 3 weeks while awaiting occupancy of our future home on Elmridge Drive. The kindness and generosity of all  the family was never forgotten! Mary, thank you for being you. Good memories of hanging out a few times with you and your classmates during the university days, visiting you  and Marc in Montreal and finally, reconnecting with you at the SuperBowl Sunday party this past February in Carleton Place. I am so thankful I had the chance to know you and consider you  a friend.  RIP Mary.

We have always enjoyed Mary’s kind, warm and positive attitude. Whenever we saw her at Nixon/Flannery events, she was always receiving and good humoured. We were always happy to meet again even though it was on rare occasions. Sending love and prayers to you and your family.
