I have fond memories of Mrs. Hart and my time with her when we worked at Correctional Services Canada. She was my Supervisor and I enjoyed working with her. She was so kind and such a gentle person. Everyone respected her. I regret not getting in to see her before she passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with Lola and all the family at this time.
Sincerely, Marj. Nolan (McDiarmid)

I had the pleasure of meeting Ellen when she came to visit Elizabeth in Fujairah, UAE. I remember thinking I hope I have as much energy, enthusiasm, and joy for life when I am her age! She and Lois did so much shopping they had to buy another suitcase to take it all home! How wonderful she was able to continue golfing and enjoy celebrating 100 years of a life well lived!

I first met Mrs. Hart when we moved to Bell’s Corners in the mid-70s, and we lived across the street from her and her husband Lorne for 26 years. She was always kind, with a smile on her face and something nice to say. Our family grew up before their eyes and we enjoyed having them as neighbours. My parents would visit them each time they went to Florida. This lady lived through a century, and anyone who met her, would never forget her. May she rest on the greenest fairway ever.
