Passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband Sandford “Sandy” MacDonell. Loving mother of Jim, Doug, Heather (Ian) all of Ottawa. Proud and loving grandmother of Erin and Emily. Dear sister of Leo McKee, Edna Rooney. Friends may pay their respects at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road (one block east of Bank Street), on Friday, May 12, 2006 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 1940 Saunderson Drive. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (Research) would be appreciated.
