February 19, 1922 – January 25, 2018
Nicholas has gone to join his family in heaven. Predeceased by his parents Lucia and Paul Joseph, and his siblings Peter, Rose, Sally, Carmel and Tony. He will be missed by his wife of 66 years Joan (nee Clayton); his children Susan (Andre), Pamela (Pierre), Clayton (Shelly) and Cristopher; his grandchildren Vincent, Eric, Nicholas (Emily), Mathieu, Sophie, Kendra and Braden; and great granddaughter Madeleine. He is also survived by his siblings Helen, Lucy, John, Bunny, Anne, Sister Margaret O.S.M, Teresa and Joe. Nick will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Nick had a successful career as a professional engineer with Public Works Canada. He was a decorated veteran of WWII, where he served as a bombardier with the Royal Canadian Air Force.
Friends may pay their respects Monday January 29, 2018, 4-7 pm at Racine Robert and Gauthier, 180 Montreal road, Ottawa ON. Funeral Mass to be held Tuesday January 30, 2018, 11am at Assumption Parish, 320 Olmstead Street, Ottawa, ON. Interment to follow.
