Il laisse également dans le deuil ses enfants : Jean (Anna) et Mélissa, ses petits-enfants : Sarah, Sophia, Kendon et Malakai, ses deux sœurs Victoria et Immacula, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et amis.

Il a été prédécédé par son fils Eliphet.

La famille souhaite remercier les docteurs et le personnel de l'hôpital Civic, de l'hôpital Montfort et de l'hôpital général d’Ottawa pour les soins prodigués.

Le vendredi 16 octobre 2026, la famille recevra les parents et amis de 14 h à 16 h et, en soirée, de 19 h à 21 h, à la maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier, au 180, chemin Montréal, à Ottawa. Des funérailles seront célébrées le samedi 17 octobre 2026, à 9 h 30, en l'église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes de Vanier, 435, chemin Montréal, Ottawa.

En mémoire de Nicolas, une contribution sous forme de fleurs serait grandement appréciée.

It is with deep regret that the family announces the peaceful passing of Mr. Nicolas Augustin on September 26, 2026, at the age of 81. He was the son of the late Léon and the late Claudia, and the husband of Immacula.

He also leaves to mourn his children, Jean (Anna) and Mélissa; his grandchildren, Sarah, Sophia, Kendon, and Malakai; his sisters, Victoria and Immacula; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his son Eliphet.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Ottawa Civic Hospital, Montfort Hospital, and the General Hospital for the excellent care provided.

On Friday, October 16, 2026, the family will receive friends and family at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral will be celebrated on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church in Vanier, 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa.

In memory of Nicolas, donations of flowers would be greatly appreciated.
