Rachel Lavictoire Huard

Surrounded by loved ones, peacefully passed away on April 15th, 2017 at the age of 80. Daughter of the late Philippe Lavictoire and the late Jeanne Dupuis. Beloved Wife of the late Gérald “Gerry” Huard. Devoted Mother to Richard (Catherine Gobeil), Lisa (Molnar) and Ronald. Cherished Grandmother and Grand-maman to Lacy, Chanel, Parise, Julia, Philip, Max, Krystelle and Brody. Loving Great-Grandmother to Sophie, Clayton, Liam and Landon. She also leaves her brother Jean-Marc (Marguerite) and her sisters, Emiliene Boileau (late Gerald), and Mariette Bazinet (late Raymond). Loved Sister-in-law of Claire Russell and Jeannette Howe (Murray).

She was predeceased by her siblings Lisette Quinlan (John), Jeanne-D'arc Charron (late Aurèle), Eulalie Constantineau (late Emile), Daniel (late Margaret), Rita Harper (late Raymond), René, Gérard (late Colette) and Maurice (late Jacqueline).

Beloved “Matante” and “Auntie” to her many nieces and nephews.

There will be visitation on Friday April 21st 2017 from 5 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa). Funeral Mass on Saturday April 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at

Saint-François-d'Assise Church (20 Fairmont Avenue, Ottawa).
