Peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the age of 86 (or, as he liked to say, “39 and holding”). Beloved husband of sixty two years to Beulah (nee Logan). Loving father of Maureen (Madeleine), Lorraine and Diane. Devoted grandfather of Kimberly, Elise, Kristin and Merike. Dear brother of Charlotte, Thérèse, May (Roger) and the late André. Brother-in-law to Joyce and Ken. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Friends and family may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Rd. at Albion Rd. on Friday August 2nd from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday August 3rd at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 685 Walkley Rd, Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated.
