Reina Landry

Elle était l’épouse bien-aimée de feu Roger Landry. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Denise Irons (Roy), Donald Landry (Sukanda) et Pierre Landry (Jocelyne), ses petits-enfants Janie Bériault (Benoit) et Ashley Bériault (Ian), ses arrière-petits-enfants Wesley, Evelyne, Aurélie et Hunter, ses sœurs Claire Desrochers (feu Laurier), Raymonde Thibeault (feu Zépherin), Jacqueline St. Louis (feu René) et Suzanne Bellemare (Marcel), ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Elle fut prédécédée par sa fille Joanne Landry, ses sœurs Thérèse Noël, Yvette Simon (Lucien) et son frère Normand Noël (Rachel).

Reina est née à St. Charles, en Ontario, et a vécu dans ce village jusqu’à son mariage en 1954. Cette année-là, elle s’est installée à Azilda et y a vécu jusqu’en 1967, année où elle a déménagé dans la région d’Ottawa. Au cours de sa vie, elle a participé à plusieurs organismes de la paroisse Sainte-Agnès d’Azilda et, plus tard, elle a été très active au sein de divers organismes sociaux et communautaires de la Ville de Vanier. Reina Landry était une femme de cœur et de passion, dévouée à sa famille et à sa foi. Elle a été notre plus grand soutien, notre inspiration et restera à jamais dans nos cœurs.

La famille désire remercier Suzanne Lemay pour ses soins et sa tendresse, Dr Lane ainsi que tous les employés du 4ᵉ étage du Centre d’accueil Champlain.

Les visites auront lieu le lundi 8 décembre 2025, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h, à la maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier, située au 180, chemin Montréal, Ottawa (ON) K1L 1B4. La famille recevra les condoléances le 9 décembre 2025 à partir de 10h à l’église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, 435, chemin Montréal, Ottawa (ON) K1K 0V2, suivies d’un service commémoratif à 10h30. La mise en niche aura lieu après le service, à 11h30, au cimetière Notre-Dame d’Ottawa, 455, chemin Montréal, Ottawa (ON) K1K 0V2. Un goûter sera servi à l’église après la mise en niche.

En mémoire de Reina, des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer ou La Société de la démence Ottawa et comté de Renfrew seraient grandement appréciés.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Reina Landry (née Noël), who passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 91, daughter of the late Roméo Noël and the late Laura Dupuis.

She was the beloved wife of the late Roger Landry. She is mourned by her children Denise Irons (Roy), Donald Landry (Sukanda), and Pierre Landry (Jocelyne); her grandchildren Janie Bériault (Benoit) and Ashley Bériault (Ian); her great-grandchildren Wesley, Evelyne, Aurélie, and Hunter; her sisters Claire Desrochers (late Laurier), Raymonde Thibeault (late Zépherin), Jacqueline St. Louis (late René), and Suzanne Bellemare (Marcel); as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Joanne Landry, her sisters Thérèse Noël, Yvette Simon (Lucien) and her brother Normand Noël (Rachel).

Reina was born in St. Charles, Ontario, and lived in that village until her marriage in 1954. That year, she settled in Azilda, where she lived until 1967, when she moved to the Ottawa area. Throughout her life, she was involved in several organizations at Sainte-Agnès Parish in Azilda and, later, she was very active in various social and community organizations in the City of Vanier. Reina Landry was a woman of heart and passion, devoted to her family and her faith. She was our greatest support and inspiration and will remain forever in our hearts.

The family wishes to thank Suzanne Lemay for her care and kindness, Dr. Lane, and all the staff on the 4th floor of the Centre d’accueil Champlain.

Visitation will take place on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, ON K1L 1B4. The family will receive condolences on December 9, 2025, starting at 10 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church, 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa, ON K1K 0V2, followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. The placement of the urn in the niche will take place after the service at 11:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame Cemetery, 455 Montreal Road, Ottawa, ON K1K 0V2. A light reception will be held at the church after the service.

In memory of Reina, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be greatly appreciated.
